serena williams
Serena Jameka Williams (born September 26, 1981) is an American professional tennis player who is currently ranked No.1 in the women's singles tennis. She became the World No. 1 for the first time on July 8, 2002, and regained this ranking for the sixth time on February 18, 2013, becoming the oldest world no. 1 player in WTA's history. Williams is also regarded by some experts and former tennis players to be the greatest female tennis player in history. She is the only female player to have won over $60 million in prize money, and is the reigning US Open, WTA Tour Championships and Olympic ladies singles champion
Serena has a similar personality to me in which she is outgoing; passionate about the sport she plays and by her charisma to perform. Serena is extremely competitive, like me, and puts her body through in anything in order to win. However, she is different in personality in that never does she admit that an opponent beat her fair and square on the court. She always has her excuses, be it an injury, mistakes she made, or the fact that she supposedly wasn't on the top of her game. So she can be considered as a bad sport.
On the other hand, she's very athletic, powerful and strong, and with a natural confidence, she is able to perform at her maximum potential. Like me, she enjoys guiding others. She does this by coaching young adults tennis in her spare time. She also finds it natural and easy to communicate with others, whether its to her coaches (her parents), or when playing doubles alongside Venus.
Serena comes across determined, dynamic and fearless. She's up for anything- and will play any match/player thrown at her. Her strong personality keeps her thriving.
In contrast to me, her only difference in the Sanguine, Melancholy, Phlegmatic and Choleric test is that she is less sanguine. Unlike me, she does not care as much about other's opinions. This is proven by the continuous debate that she is not a skilled tennis player, but just full of power. She is also thought to be a sore loser and bad winner with her apparent arrogance. Serena has a very similar melancholy percentage in the way that she doesn't care about being different. This is proven by her different dress and play on court. In terms of phlegmatic- Serena is not laid back; she is always on her toes and will not let her opponent beat her. She can also come across selfish when she wins with her sly grin and upright posture. She is very similar, if not exact in percentage of choleric. She is without a doubt, a strong leader, self-disciplined and sufficient. With her achievements she is clearly also very successful. Serena tries to be perfect all the time, becomes bossy during doubles matches, and does not let her guard down. On several occasions she has been referred to a golfer. Golf is known to be about 'mind games' and psychology. You cannot let people know what you're thinking or feeling or it could give the game away.
